This is an Hourly position.This job is located in Alton,ILM-Th 8:30 - 4:00, F 8:30 - 12:30- schedule is flexible32 hours a weekThe Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to an OSF Vice President, Director and/or Department Manager. Maintains the leader(s) calendar, schedules appointments, resolves scheduling conflicts and makes travel arrangements. Provides general clerical support such record keeping, answering/routing calls, writing documents and creating presentations. Manages projects as assigned. Prioritizes work with minimal supervision. Demonstrates a high level of competence and professionalism including excellent written and verbal communication skills.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: High School diploma or GEDExperience: Two years of secretary and/or administrative experienceOther skills/knowledge Intermediate level in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Proficient with email and calendaring systems Proven communication and interpersonal skills in previous job or classwork Demonstrated organizational and prioritizing skillsPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Associates degreeExperience: Working knowledge of MS Project and OneNoteLicensure/certification: Office Professional CertificationOSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
