About the role

Are you a treasure sorter with a sharp eye! Here at the Idaho Youth Ranch you'll have the opportunity to dive into collections of vintage costume and fine jewelry-sorting, identifying, and organizing sparkling pieces in sterling, gold, and everything in between. It's like going on a mini treasure hunt every day! Because every hidden gem deserves to shine! We need volunteers to help our stores create a well-sorted, accurately identified jewelry collection to offer customers quality pieces they'll love. This role ensures that vintage finds and fine treasures are organized, valued, and ready to dazzle on display. Volunteers will be working in our jewelry room aka the sparkle zone, at our office in Boise.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
