Company Description: Corporate Transition Consulting, Inc. (CTC) is an M&A advisory firm seeking a part-time assistant to support client work and business projects. The firm has over 20 years of experience helping business owners transition their companies to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Professional staff includes CPAs, attorneys, former CFOs, and business advisors.
Role Description: The Business Operations & Sales Support role is a part-time, independent contractor, remote position. The candidate must be in the U.S. This role has two sides: administrative and internal operations. Administrative work includes managing calendars, invoicing, creating Power Point presentations, and supporting marketing. Business operations work includes tracking client progress, organizing online data rooms, updating spreadsheets and Monday.com, managing Docu Sign, and supporting client due diligence. A successful candidate will be a self-starter who looks for ways to move projects forward, rather than waiting for direction at each step. This candidate will also embrace AI and new technology and help others do the same. Compensation Hourly rate based on experience. Eligible for bonuses after a period of time.
Qualifications: 2+ years of professional business experience Demonstrated professional communication skills with clients and senior business professionals by phone and email. Basic understanding of financial statements and income tax concepts Willing to learn new things Experience working remotely Willingness to stay in this role long-term; we are not looking for a short-term candidate Helpful: professional experience working in accounting, finance, M&A, lending, or legal is a plus
