Job Title: Training and Technical Advisor/Factory Support TeamFSLA: FT/Exempt The Factory Support Team is a technical support resource focused on diagnostics, product training, warranty support, and consultation. We are seeking aTraining and Technical Advisorfor our Factory Support Department for the Houston area. This role serves as a technical resource supporting Hugh M. Cunningham sales organization and represents manufacturer brands across plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, water treatment, and hydronic product lines.
Ideal Candidate:

Experienced inresidential and commercial plumbing service, municipal water and waste equipment, and pump technology
Familiar withbackflow preventiondevice installation, testing, and repair
TCEQ backflow prevention assembly tester license preferred, or the ability to obtain one
Strongcritical thinkingand diagnostic skills
Familiar with basic electrical concepts and testing, hydronics, plumbing, irrigation, and HVAC
Comfortablespeaking in front of groupsand conducting product training sessions in a well-spoken, professional, and coherent manner; full English proficiency required
Maintains a professional, customer service-orientedapproach in all work
Bilingual Spanish is a plus
Able to work independently with little daily direct supervision; self-motivatedmentality
Proficient in Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Word, and Power Point

Note:
Because training activities and jobsite demands differ daily, work schedules are flexible and may require varying start and end times rather than a consistent 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. schedule.
Requirements:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Valid driver license and clean driving record must be always maintained
Must pass criminal background check
Must be able to travel within assigned territory for trainings and jobsite visits; within territory travel approx. 50%
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted
Ability to perform tasks in outside environments, including heat, cold, noise, and other varying conditions
