About the role
Job DescriptionOur client is seeking an IT Program Manager for a 12+ month hybrid contract in Arlington, TX.\n\nJob Duties:\n\nCommunicating up and down the stack –interacting with executives, engineers and architects, business groups and shared services\nLeading the tech standardization efforts to streamline technology and tools needed to support business needs\nSupport the assessment of technology capabilities to drive modernization activities\nBuild and develop effective relationships with different IT and product teams to find opportunities for increase business value while modernizing our applications\nDrive an effective delivery approach and think out of the box to deliver value quickly while managing costs strategically\nDocument and conduct presentations for technical, business and leadership audiences to promote strategy and communicate progress on assigned initiatives\nSupport in planning activities across goals, KRs, KPIs etc. as it relates to program outcomes\nAssist with change management activities for the team and beyond\nChampion the financials of the assigned program, and support inputs to yearly budget, and ongoing financial planning\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and driving operational efficiency within the program\n\n\nRequired Skills:\n\nExperience working with both agile and waterfall methodologies\nAbility to manage up to 15 projects simultaneously\nExperience in managing large, complex project teams using a variety of methodologies and supporting technologies\nAbility to use AI tools such as Copilot to create a WBS and expedite turnarounds\nExcellent project management skills, including the ability to create and manage program plans, budgets, and resources effectively\nStrong leadership and influencing skills, with the ability to drive consensus and manage stakeholders at all levels\nAbility to identify and understand technical dependencies between initiatives\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\n\n\nExperience:\n\n7-10 years of experience in technology program leadership roles required\nFinancial services industry, Loan origination & lending experience preferred\n\n\nLicenses:\n\nPMP, Scrum Master, PgMP and PMI-ACP certifications are a plus.\n\n
