Job Title: Construction Foreman – Roadways and Paving
Location:
West Palm Beach, FLWe are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to supervise roadway and paving projects. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience coordinating crews, equipment, materials, and daily site activities while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate field crews on roadway construction and paving projects. Plan daily work, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project schedules. Coordinate equipment, materials, subcontractors, and deliveries. Read and interpret project plans, specifications, and work orders. Ensure work meets project specifications, quality standards, and applicable safety requirements. Conduct jobsite inspections and address issues promptly. Communicate project updates, delays, and resource needs to the project manager or superintendent. Maintain accurate daily reports, time records, and documentation. Promote safe work practices and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a construction foreman or in a similar supervisory role. Demonstrated experience with roadway construction and paving operations. Knowledge of paving methods, materials, equipment, and jobsite procedures. Ability to read plans and coordinate field work accordingly. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required. OSHA or other relevant safety training is preferred. Ability to work outdoors and meet the physical demands of construction work.
