About the role

Ethos Energy is growing, and we're looking for a Turbine Technician to join our Engine Repair Operations (ERO) team within our Light Turbines business unit in Houston, TX. In this hands-on role, you'll support our production team while working with advanced turbine technology and experienced industry professionals. Reporting directly to the Turbine Supervisor, you'll play an important part in delivering high-quality repair and service solutions to our customers. Qualified candidates must have 1-3 years of experience in a technical or mechanical environment with a basic understanding of engineering principles (a plus). Seeking a team player who is flexible and ready to support business needs, including occasional nights and weekends.
Job Responsibilities: Disassemble, clean, inspect, and assemble gas turbine generators and related equipment, including calculating required dimensions and clearances. Perform repairs and overhauls in line with production supervisor, project management, and customer requirements. Complete all component repair and overhaul records thoroughly and on time. Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, repair schemes, service bulletins, and other relevant technical documentation. Use appropriate measuring equipment, including micrometers, to perform required calculations. Comply with Ethos Energy and customer quality, health, safety, and environmental (QHSE) systems, procedures, and all applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Immediately report all accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards to the HSE Department and complete required paperwork within 24 hours. Help foster a team culture that supports a safe workplace, a healthy working environment, sustainability, and the responsibility to intervene when needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Skills / Knowledge Knowledge of and proactive engagement on HSE requirements. Strong focus on and passion for customer satisfaction. Demonstrated positive and constructive attitude. Working knowledge of turbo machinery build standards and requirements. Solid verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment. Flexibility in support of changing external and internal customer needs. Competent IT skills including the use of MS Word and Excel. Shows a willingness and ability to learn new skills. Experience One to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding basic engineering principles, a plus. Certificate from technical school a plus. Further educational qualification in a mechanical/engineering discipline is a plus
Education Requirements: Highschool Diploma
Physical Requirements: Capability to lift 35lbs. Ability to squat and stand for long periods of time.
