We're looking for professionals who use GIMP as part of their day-to-day workflow. Selected contributors will be paid to record their real workflows using a lightweight app we provide. - Avoid capturing confidential, proprietary, or sensitive data (including passwords and personal data)
- Idle or low-activity sessions will not be paid
- Sample Tasks:
Open a photo in GIMP, adjust levels or curves using the GUI, and apply a basic correction (e.g., color balance, sharpening, or noise reduction).Use the selection tools (e.g., fuzzy select, scissors, or paths) to isolate a subject and apply edits or compositing with a second image.
Work with layers and masks to combine multiple images, adjust layer blending modes, and export the final result as PNG or JPG.Pay$3–$20/hr. Payouts weekly on Wednesdays via Stripe or Payoneer.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
