About the role
- Set up and operate CNC press brake equipment
- Bend, form, and fabricate metal components according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Select and install the appropriate tooling for each job
- Make machine adjustments to achieve proper bends, angles, and dimensions
- Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring tools
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and tolerance requirements
- Identify and troubleshoot basic machine or production issues
- Complete required production and quality documentation
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Previous press brake or metal fabrication experience
- Experience setting up and operating press brake machinery preferred
- Ability to read and understand blueprints
- Knowledge of measurements, angles, and tolerances
- Experience using precision measuring equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Dependable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently in a manufacturing environment
- Must be available to complete training on 1st shift
- Steel-toe footwear required
- $24.00/hour4-day workweek after training
