About the role
Korn Ferry has partnered with our client on their search for a role, Project Executive. We are seeking a Project Executive to provide strategic leadership for a large portfolio of projects while mentoring and developing a high-performing project management team. This individual will be responsible for driving project execution, financial performance, operational excellence, and talent development across multiple complex projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide executive oversight for a portfolio of large-scale construction projects.
Drive project profitability, forecasting accuracy, and overall financial performance.
Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers and senior project leaders.
Serve as a trusted coach and resource to project teams, helping solve complex project challenges.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with company objectives.
Collaborate with operations, finance, and field leadership to optimize project outcomes.
Participate in staffing, resource planning, and organizational development initiatives.
Champion continuous improvement and best practices throughout project operations.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
Strong financial acumen with responsibility for project forecasting, budgeting, and profitability.
Experience overseeing large-scale construction projects, including projects exceeding $10M in value and portfolios exceeding $30M.Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on project support when needed.
Strong communication, collaboration, and executive presence.
Experience within general contracting, construction management, mechanical contracting, industrial construction, infrastructure, or related project-based environments.
A humble, team-oriented leadership style with a passion for coaching and developing others.
Preferred Background:
Experience from mechanical construction, MEP contracting, HVAC/plumbing contracting, industrial construction, process piping, mission-critical construction, advanced manufacturing facilities, or related project-driven environments.
