About the role
To drive business development and revenue growth, the full-time Air Force Strategic Account Executive will manage relationships with senior Air Force stakeholders, identify strategic opportunities, and lead the capture strategy from customer engagement through contract award, with options for remote work.
Key responsibilities
Own and execute Shift5's growth strategy across assigned Air Force accounts and operational units
Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior Air Force leaders and acquisition officials
Identify and mature strategic opportunities aligned with Shift5's growth objectives and product roadmap
Required qualifications
7+ years of experience in defense sales or business development supporting the U.S. Air Force
Deep understanding of Air Force organizations, acquisition processes, and modernization priorities
Experience selling software, cybersecurity, or mission systems to the Department of Defense
Proven ability to lead opportunity shaping and capture strategy
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
