Position Summary:
We’re seeking a high-performing Senior Sales manager to expand our footprint in the East, South, and Midwest U.S. markets. This role is 100% focused on raw ingredient sales to dietary supplement and nutrition product manufacturers—not finished goods. You’ll manage accounts and pursue new business across our core categories, working closely with internal teams and reporting directly to company leadership. You'll also join one of our dedicated sales teams (Heather, Greg, David).
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute territory sales plans to drive revenue in assigned U.S. regions (East, South, Midwest), focusing on raw ingredients such as collagen, amino acids, vitamins, and botanical extracts. Manage a combination of existing house accounts and self-developed leads, maintaining consistent follow-up and relationship cultivation to maximize retention and upsell opportunities. Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching prospects, understanding their sourcing needs, and tailoring product proposals to fit their requirements. Lead raw ingredient sales efforts in assigned territories (East, South, Midwest), focused on collagen, amino acids, vitamins, and herbal extracts Serve as a trusted advisor by sharing relevant market trends, product knowledge, and application insights to help customers make informed purchasing decisions. Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams—including supply chain, logistics, finance, and quality—to ensure smooth and timely delivery from our California-based inventory. Proactively address customer issues or complaints, resolving problems efficiently to retain trust and secure repeat business Expand and maintain a strong book of business using your existing client relationships in the supplement industry Travel monthly as needed for trade shows, site visits, and client meetings
Qualifications:
B2B sales experience in nutritional raw ingredients, dietary supplements, or related sectors Demonstrated $6M+ annual sales performance preferred Strong U.S. client base or established distributor network in the supplement space Deep understanding of raw material sourcing, pricing, and market dynamics Strong familiarity with the vitamin ingredient category is highly preferred Excellent sales communication, client relationship, and problem-solving skills Highly self-driven, accountable, and responsive to performance metrics Willingness to travel within the U.S. for client needs or events
