About the role
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Treasury Manager to lead liquidity, cash flow forecasting, and working capital performance across a multi-product business. This role operates in a fast-paced, private equity-style environment and offers high visibility to executive leadership and the Board reporting, requiring both precision in execution and the ability to deliver clear, actionable insights that drive decision-making. The ideal candidate brings experience in public and/or private equity-backed companies and thrives under tight deadlines. This individual will balance operational rigor—owning cash visibility and forecasting accuracy—with a continuous improvement mindset, building scalable processes that enhance efficiency and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Cash & Liquidity Management Own and manage the 13-week cash flow forecast, ensuring a high degree of accuracy through close partnership with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)Monitor daily cash positions and optimize liquidity Establish and maintain disciplined cash management processes and controls Working Capital Optimization Manage and improve the cash conversion cycle (CCC) across multiple product lines, including: Inventory (Days Inventory Outstanding – DIO)Accounts Receivable (Days Sales Outstanding – DSO)Accounts Payable (Days Payable Outstanding – DPO)Develop and maintain driver-based CCC forecasts by product line, linking operational metrics to cash flow outcomes and enabling proactive decision-making Partner cross-functionally (Finance, Operations, Supply Chain) to drive sustainable improvements in working capital efficiency Financial Reporting & Analysis Deliver timely, accurate treasury reporting to executive leadership and the Board under tight deadlines Prepare and enhance the Statement of Cash Flows (leveraging income statement and balance sheet)Lead cash flow budgeting and forecasting, including scenario planning and sensitivity analysis Perform variance analysis (actual vs. forecast/budget) and translate findings into actionable insights Process Improvement & Systems Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy, reporting quality, and operational efficiency Design and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to clearly communicate trends, risks, and opportunities Drive automation and scalability through effective use of systems Risk Management & Insurance Support enterprise risk management efforts, including oversight of insurance programs (renewals, claims, coverage evaluation)Banking & Capital Structure Manage relationships with banking partners Oversee debt compliance, covenant reporting, and support financing activities Partner with leadership to optimize capital structure and liquidity strategy
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA, CFA preferred)6–10+ years of experience in treasury, corporate finance, or related roles Experience in public and/or private equity-backed environments Strong expertise in cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and liquidity planning Proven ability to operate effectively under tight deadlines with high accuracy Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP systems and treasury management systems (TMS)Experience with data visualization and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools)Working knowledge of insurance and corporate risk management practices (preferred)
