Required Skills & Experience:
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree Experience using ERP systems in a service environment Very strong Excel skills Previously utilized Excel for dispatch board management or scheduling activities Experience in a service environment where technicians are dispatched from a central hub Basic Lean/Six Sigma fundamentals training to support process improvement initiatives Strong communication and customer service skills Great personality and ability to work well with others
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Service Coordinator to support one of our largest energy services clients. This person will ensure customer expectations and commitments are met through effective communication, support, and coordination with both customers and field employees. As the primary point of contact for service customers, this individual will: Coordinate and dispatch field technicians based on customer needs, technician availability, and service priorities Prioritize emergency service requests, preventive maintenance visits, and routine service calls Proactively follow up with customers after service visits to ensure expectations are met and a positive customer experience is delivered Manage scheduling and movement of manpower and materials to support service operations Create and maintain service calls, work orders, and preventive maintenance schedules Update customer information and maintain accurate records within service systems Support material procurement activities, including pricing requests, purchase orders, customer part sales, invoicing, and internal project requests Utilize ERP and service software tools to manage daily service activities, customer records, scheduling, and purchasing functions Support continuous improvement efforts through Lean and process-focused practices Deliver outstanding customer service while balancing customer needs, technician schedules, and operational priorities Effective utilization of service software is critical for managing service activities, including opening service calls, scheduling planned preventive maintenance visits, updating customer information, creating purchase orders, and supporting overall service operations. Above all, this position plays a key role in ensuring an exceptional customer experience while helping drive efficient service delivery across the organization. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
