Overview:
As Head of Finance North America, you steer regional financial strategy and oversee operations to align with global objectives. You will partner with the regional President and Global CFO to drive financial excellence and growth, ensuring strong controls and accurate reporting. You'll lead the NA Finance team, shape data-driven insights, and support executive decision-making. This is a hands‑on, strategic role at the heart of regional expansion and transformation. Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop the North America Finance team to enable regional expansion
- Oversee day‑to‑day financial operations including AR/AP, payroll, project cost accounting, and GLOptimize SAP‑based accounting and reporting systems for scalability
- Develop and maintain financial policies and internal controls to safeguard assets
- Direct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting in line with US GAAP and Group policies
- Ensure regulatory compliance (SOX/SEC where applicable) and manage treasury/workings capital
- Partner with regional President and Global CFO to provide financial modeling and strategic analysis
- Oversee budgeting, variance analysis, and performance metrics
- Serve as Co‑Managing Director for Heliox Technology Inc., providing governance and leadership
Key requirements:
- 8-10+ years in finance with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Deep proficiency in US GAAP, management and tax accountingERP systems experience with SAP; strong MS Office and financial modeling
- Hands‑on leader capable of balancing strategy with operational execution
- Strong communication skills with ability to present to diverse stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA/CMA/MBA desirable
