SENIORITY
Lead
About the role
- Lead requirements gathering with clients on site, running process walkthroughs and workshops with plant and operations leadership
- Write detailed Business Requirements Specifications that are specific enough to build from and clear about what is in and out of scope
- Design solutions using standard templates as a starting point, and advise clients on what to configure, what to change in their own process, and what not to build
- Present designs to clients and internal leadership for sign-off
- Validate configured builds against the specification before the client sees them, working directly with the build team to resolve gaps
- Train client super users, run User Acceptance Testing, and manage the resulting adjustments
- Support on-site go-lives and stay until the client is running production on the system
- Hand clients over to support cleanly, with open items documented and the support team fully briefed
- Mentor US colleagues on design method and contribute improvements to the company’s global design standard
- Share in first-line support across the wider delivery team
- 5+ years designing and implementing operational software in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution, with direct ownership of requirements and design
- A track record of writing functional specifications or requirements documents that others have successfully built from
- Client-facing experience with plant and operations managers, including leading workshops and handling difficult scope conversations
- Full lifecycle implementation experience: design, validation, training, UAT, and on-site cutover
- Comfort working with a build team in another country and time zone, where your documentation has to stand on its own
- Flexibility for occasional early starts (around 7:00 AM ET) to overlap with international colleagues
- Based in, or willing to relocate to, the north Atlanta area, and able to travel regularly to client sites across North America
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
