Summary:
Seeking an experienced 1st Class Electrician for shipyard work in Lockport, LA. Candidates must have marine electrical experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics.
Must-Haves:
- 3+ years of shipyard or marine electrical experience
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience troubleshooting AC/DC systems
- Knowledge of shipyard safety standards
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work full-time day shift
- Preferred Experience on barges, tugboats, or offshore vesselsNCCER or OSHA certifications
- Experience with motor controls and switchgear
- Ability to work overtime as needed
