Job Description
TITLE: Tutor(University Students)
LOCATION: Participating Elementary Schools (e.g., Calhoun, Concord)
DURATION: 8 Week Program- Fall Semester
QUALIFICATIONS: Candidate must be actively enrolled and in good standing withhis/her
Candidate must be available to assist during the times determined by the school principal.
OBJECTIVE:
To provide students with academic support in theareas of reading and mathematics in order to meet or exceed grade level performanceexpectations.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborates with administratorsand teachers.
Assists with the collection of data, analysis of data results andorganization of the results.
Delivers intensive prescriptive remediation/instruction to students to increase academic achievement in reading andmath usingresearch-basedprograms.
Provides the classroom teacher and administration with regular reports regard student progress.
Maintains and submits accurate and up-to-date management records of all students’ progress.
Maintains confidentiality concerning student records.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
2-5 hours weekly; $20/hour; tutoring begins on/afterSeptember 10, 2026 and will last up to 8 weeks
