About the role

Role: Pediatric Hospitalist Physician providing locum tenens support with a focus on inpatient pediatric care.
Responsibilities: Provide 24-hour on-call coverage, managing a patient census of 1-7 per shift. Perform procedures such as neonatal umbilical lines, chest tubes, and intubations primarily in the Emergency Department. Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation. Collaborate with support teams, with details to be determined. Qualifications & SkillsActive California medical license, DEA registration, and board certification. Certifications in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Ability to perform specified procedures and handle pediatric emergencies.
Key Duties: Deliver inpatient pediatric care during on-call hours, manage patient needs, and ensure quality care for pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
