Role Description: The Director of Admissions is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Boston, responsible for leading and overseeing the admissions process for clients and partner organizations. This role manages the end-to-end enrollment workflow, including intake assessments, documentation review, and coordination with clinical and administrative teams to ensure a smooth transition of individuals into appropriate care settings. The Director of Admissions develops and implements admissions policies, monitors key performance metrics, and identifies opportunities to improve efficiency and client experience. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising admissions staff, communicating with families and referral sources, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and organizational standards. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with healthcare partners and contributing to outreach initiatives that support continued growth.
Qualifications: Demonstrated skills in Enrollment Management, with experience designing and overseeing admissions or intake processes. Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to interact effectively and empathetically with families, providers, and internal teams. Proven leadership and team management experience, preferably in admissions, intake, or client services within healthcare or post-acute care. Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and measurable outcomes. Familiarity with healthcare regulations, privacy standards, and documentation requirements; prior experience in post-acute or advisory settings is beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, social services, business, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
