Position Purpose:
Support the Account Management team in delivering an exceptional client experience by providing administrative, project, and operational support. This role is responsible for coordinating client-related tasks, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with initiatives that contribute to the success of our clients and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
Provide administrative and operational support to the Account Management team on a variety of client initiatives and projects.
Manage an assigned portfolio of smaller client accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for routine account management needs and client requests.
Support VIP traveler initiatives and other client-specific programs.
Assist in planning and coordinating client events.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc client reports and analyze data as requested.
Prepare Quarterly Business Review (QBR) presentations and other client meeting materials.
Assist with hotel sourcing and negotiations.
Maintain accurate client documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Create client communications, presentations, and supporting documentation.
Respond to client inquiries regarding travel policies, reporting, supplier programs, and service-related issues.
Provide tactical support in resolving client concerns and service issues, escalating when appropriate.
Coordinate with agents, leadership, operations, and other internal teams to ensure timely resolution of client requests.
Communicate with suppliers and vendor partners to support client needs and account initiatives.
Ensure client records (CRM) and account documentation remain accurate, current, and organized.
Support additional account management projects and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years in customer service/hospitality
Attention to detail + organization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly & concisely
Strong critical and creative thinking skills
Ability to respond to changing environment and handle multiple priorities
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Desire to grow into account manager role
Some travel may be required
Hybrid. San Diego or Southern CA. preferred.
