About the role
- Perform or assist in general checks such as preflight and postflight inspections
- Tow or manually push/pull aircraft and GSE with appropriate support equipment
- Properly perform and document assigned maintenance and inspection tasks as required by MFC, the Director of Maintenance and in accordance with appropriate instructions and applicable FAA regulations
- Be able to bend, kneel, squat, sit or stand for extended periods of time and be able to lift 75 lbs
- Frequent use of hands, wrists, shoulders, and back
- Be comfortable using ladders, stands, and basic GSE equipment
- Requires sufficient vision (corrected) and the ability to effectively and safely perform the essential functions of the position; ability to see colors, and the use of peripheral vision and depth perception
- Some exposure to hazardous materials and conditions is likely
- Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by industry standards and MFCPossess and maintain inventory of basic hand tools
- Must possess a current and valid Airframe & Powerplant certificate
- Must possess a valid driver's license with a clear recent driving record
- Basic computer skills include MS Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)Three years experience working with turbine-powered rotor and/or fixed-wing aircraft
- Part 135 field maintenance experience
- Professional integrity and a commitment to maintaining safe and compliant aircraft
- Must be detail-oriented and be able to work well with others to plan, troubleshoot, and problem solve
