About the role

Syntrace builds conversational knowledge for institutional investors. We capture, organize and synthesize private conversations into source-backed knowledge a firm can build on. We are now hiring a Founder's Associate, based in New York. You will work directly with the CEO on the work that matters most: customers, capital, hiring and the projects that do not belong to anyone yet, as we build our presence in the US. You will see how a company is built from the inside, and help decide where it goes. Our users trust us with the most sensitive conversations they have. That makes security part of the product, not a feature on top of it.
What you bring: A few years in investment banking, consulting, venture capital or a fast-growing company.- Strong analytical skills and sound judgment.- Clear writing.
What you get: A founding role close to every decision that matter.- A senior team that has scaled companies before.- Responsibility far beyond what the title suggests. To apply, send a short note to careers@syntrace.com about yourself. If you know someone who should read this, send it to them.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
