Settlement Officer Montvale, NJFull-Time Permanent role Seeking a Settlement Officer to assist with managing the funding process for residential and commercial real estate closings. As a Settlement Officer, you'll play a vital role in creating a seamless closing experience.
Role Responsibilities: Prepare and balance funding packages to ensure accurate disbursements. Communicate with internal teams, lenders, sellers and buyers to ensure all requirements are met and to resolve any discrepancies. Coordinate funding and disbursement of escrow funds. Resolve closing issues promptly while maintaining a high level of customer service. Maintain accurate files and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
Qualifications: Strong analytical skills to review financial data and identify discrepancies in funding numbers. Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple transactions. Proficiency with title production software (preferred).Proficiency with Microsoft Office (required).2+ years of title, escrow, or settlement experience preferred but not required.
