Job Description: IMMEDIATE POSITIONS AVAILABLE!!
Employment type: full-time We are looking for an apprentice fire sprinkler fitter in Colorado. This is an entry level position for someone who would like to start a career in an essential life safety industry. The applicant would have to be willing to start the fire sprinkler apprenticeship program. This position is field based. It is typically a 12 hour day from beginning to end with travel time to and from the job site. It is manual labor in all weather conditions. The job is typically inside a building that is under construction.
Job Requirements: Willing to learn, work hard and show up for work - on time. Construction background considered an asset. Fire Sprinkler experience preferred but not required. Help the sprinkler fitter with day to day activities. Climbing ladders Use scissor lifts Use 300 threading machine Carry up to 100lbs occasionally, 50lbs regularly Use basic hand tools (cordless drill, wrenches, saw etc.)Take direction Work unsupervised at times. We will train you. Ability to travel and stay out of town to work required. A valid Driver's License with a CLEAN DRIVING RECORD and able to pass a background check are required.
