About the role

Our client located in Charlotte, NC is looking to add a Clinical Team Lead / Clinic Manager to their team to oversee day-to-day clinic operations while remaining hands-on with patient care. Direct-Hire
Pay: $26–$30/hour
Charlotte, NC 100% On-site The ideal candidate will have a strong Medical Assistant background along with previous experience leading Medical Assistants or other clinical/office staff. This individual will serve as the leader of the clinic, helping manage the team, clinical workflow, patient experience, and overall day-to-day operations.
Responsibilities: Oversee daily clinic operations and ensure efficient patient flow. Lead, mentor, and support Medical Assistants and other clinic staff. Conduct employee reviews and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new team members. Serve as the primary resource for staff regarding clinical procedures, workflow, and day-to-day operational needs. Remain hands-on with patient care, including rooming patients, obtaining medical histories, taking vitals, and assisting providers. Educate patients regarding treatment plans, procedures, medications, and post-visit care. Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR system. Monitor clinical supplies and ensure exam rooms and patient-care areas are properly maintained. Assist with audits, quality improvement initiatives, and clinic compliance. Partner with providers and leadership to identify and resolve operational issues.
Qualifications: Previous Medical Assistant experience required. Approximately 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing Medical Assistants, clinical staff, or office staff strongly preferred. Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required. CMA or RMA certification strongly preferred. Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with EMR systems and clinical documentation. Ability to balance hands-on patient care with team leadership and clinic management responsibilities. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus, but not required. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant who has moved into leadership and is ready to take ownership of a clinic while still staying involved in patient care.
