About the role

We’re looking for the right person to lead Kidcam Camp at River’s Retreat — and this isn’t your average summer day camp setting. TOP 3 REASONS TO JOIN THE KIDCAM TEAM:1. Build Something Special River’s Retreat is a beautiful, outdoorsy property with plenty of room to get creative. You’ll have the freedom to build games, traditions, activities and experiences that give this camp its own personality.2. Turn the Outdoors Into the Program With a swimming pool on site, open outdoor spaces and plenty of room for adventure, this is a camp where programming doesn’t have to come out of a binder. We want a Director who looks at the property and immediately starts imagining what kids could do with it.3. Make Summer Feel Like Summer This is the kind of setting where camp can be messy, active, adventurous, creative and FUN. You’ll have the opportunity to create the kind of summer kids talk about long after it ends. TOP 4 CANDIDATE QUALITIES:1. Creative Programmer You have big ideas and know how to turn a space, a theme or even an ordinary afternoon into something kids get excited about.2. Strong Leader You can lead a seasonal staff, set expectations, solve problems, communicate with parents and keep a camp moving in the right direction.3. Patient + Great With People You understand that leading camp means working with kids, teenagers, young adults and parents — sometimes all at the same time.4. A Little Modern-Day Steve Irwin Energy Adventurous. Enthusiastic. Curious. Comfortable outdoors. Great with people. And genuinely excited about bringing the natural world to life for kids.📍 River’s Retreat Event Center | Covington, Louisiana☀️ Late May through early August (Mon - Fri, Daytime Hours)💰 Weekly salary up to $1,200, based on camper enrollment🏡 Living stipend may be available for candidates coming from outside the area This is a summer leadership role for someone who doesn’t just want to run camp. Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
