Job Description: Strip coatings from surfaces, prepare surfaces, and paint surfaces of parts and sub-assemblies with primer, finish, and protective coatings in accordance with technical manuals, specifications or engineering drawings using multiple application methods. Set up various types of spray-painting equipment and work stands and apply primer, finish, protective paint and paint-like coatings to parts and assemblies. Obtain paint types, colors, number of coats and areas to be painted from provided documentation, engineering drawings and process specifications. Mix paint to specified proportions and to obtain proper consistency for application. Perform incidental preparatory duties such as cleaning and preparing surfaces for coatings and masking as directed. Prepare, masks and sprays types of primer, finish and protective coatings on aircraft components. Make operating adjustments to painting equipment. Spray-paints with various coatings, as specified. In preparation for paint application, will prepare surface by sanding/masking.
Requirements: 3-5 years of Industrial Painting experience. Willing to work overtime/weekends when necessary. Able to pass frequent drug test. Schedule & Pay$18 hr DOE.Monday - Friday.7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
