Position Overview: Creative Automation is a world leader in custom automation for the woodworking and related industries. This exciting position provides an outstanding individual the opportunity to design, program and implement control systems for a wide array of automation. You will be challenged and rewarded on a daily basis!
Responsibilities: Work with the mechanical engineers to understand machine function Specify all control hardware including: PLC's, HMI's, servos, VFD's, sensors, pneumatics, safety components, networking, vision Build bill of materials Design control schematic with AutoCADLadder logic programming of PLC'sHMI development Servo sizing and control System integration with other machinery manufacturers In house testing and customer runoff Interaction with customers throughout the design, build and installation processes Travel to customer facility for start up as required, 15% travel Technical support
