Collectively, we are committed to a simple management approach, which influences our company culture and our management styl Brief Description on: The Director of Operations Process and Standards will develop, implement, and monitor the business processes that support the company operations. In addition, the Director will be responsible for ensuring operations personnel are trained, changes are communicated, and best practices are incorpora Job Responsibilities ties: Work very closely with Warehouse Managers and Program/Operations personnel at each location to ensure best practices are fully implemented and mainta ined. Develop, implement, and monitor operating standards that are applicable across all divisions, companies, and facili ties. Support optimization activities for Vendor Managed Inventory programs and Distribution/Service Center order fulfill ment. Support significant corporate operations projects such as capital equipment selection, program implementations, and expansion or reduction of operating facili ties. Work closely with Group management teams to ensure effective inventory utilizes cts. Deploy applications and reports to support business proce sses. Monitor and control Key Performance Indicators ( KPI.)Support operational financial anal ysis. Other duties as req Required Education/Credentials ials: Minimum of five years of operations management exper ience Minimum of five years of experience with multi-site distribution opera tions Knowledge and experience with continuous improvement methodologies e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, TOC, or Toyota Production Manag ement Familiar with VMI, Kanban, or other inventory systems requiring a triggered replenishment from a warehouse infrastru cture Experience working within an ISO, TS, or equivalent Quality Management S ystem Experience with fasteners and fastener quality standards strongly prefe rred. Ability to travel Location Remote or on-site, with travel. Geographic responsibility will be the West Coast, Nevada, and Arizona. Primary focus will be in Santa Fe Springs, CA and Sherwoo Salary range: $100k-$120k, depending on exp
