About the role
To support a growing electrical distribution offering, the full-time California Licensed Electrical Design Engineer will independently design, review, and sign off on electrical deliverables for utility-scale solar projects while working remotely.
Key responsibilitiesIndependently review electrical drawings and develop BOM packages for utility-scale solar EBOS projects
Lead design reviews and sign off on deliverables using internal quality processes
Size and select MV cable, harnesses, and collection system components with minimal oversightRequired qualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
3-5 years of electrical design experience, specifically in utility-scale solar
Working knowledge of BOS components and relevant NEC articles (690, 691)
Experience developing accurate BOMs and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Proficient in Excel and comfortable with new internal tools
