About the role

Front Counter Sales And Services Associate The Sales & Service Associate is responsible for supporting all aspects of site customer service for both walk in and phone/electronic sales in a friendly, fast-paced team environment.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by being professional, friendly, and approachable
  • Address and resolve all customer requests and/or complaints utilizing a positive, creative approach
  • Collaborate with all appropriate departments and personnel to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Sell products and services by using selling techniques such as add-on sales
  • Participate in required product training to build required product knowledge
  • Provide customer support with technical product information
  • Network to build relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Make outbound lead follow up to potential and existing customers utilizing various methods including phone, email, mail, and fax
  • Support outside sales team with order entry and inventory inquiries
  • Use smartphones and digital technologies to enhance communication
  • Use POS system
  • Answer phone calls and respond appropriately to caller's needs
  • Generate and maintain accurate required documentation
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
  • Comply with all company rules, policies, and procedures
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • In-depth knowledge of sales strategies and product demonstrations
  • Detail-oriented with solid organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
  • Good listener with above average reasoning ability and make minimal mistakes
  • Effective use of multi-line phone system
  • Basic computer skills including use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), with a willingness to learn new software programs
Education And Experience: High school degree or equivalent education/experience.
Physical Requirements: Frequently operates shop equipment and machinery and/or office productivity equipment such as computers, calculators, copy machines, and printers. Frequently stands for extended periods of time. Works in both inside and outside weather conditions. Required to work in a fast-paced, multitask environment. Able to lift thirty pounds unassisted.
