Today Hodge Foundry specializes in highly engineered complex Grey and Ductile Iron castings and is the only foundry in North America capable of casting parts from 60,000 to 200,000 pounds. DESCRIPTION:
PERFORM MAINTENANCE/REPAIR OF FOUNDRY EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTYASSIST OPERATORS IN STARTING EQUIPMENT AS NECESSARYMAY BE REQUIRED TO INSTALL NEW EQUIPMENT, AND FABRICATE EQUIPMENT FOR FOUNDRY PRODUCTION NEEDSPERFORMS DUTIES TO WORK INSTRUCTIONS AND QUALITY REQUIREMENTS ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTSMINIMUM OF HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA (OR EQUIVALENT)4 YEARS PROGRESSIVE MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE IN AN INDUSTRIAL SETTING PREFFEREDINDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL EXPERIENCE PREFFEREDMAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN MUST BE SKILLED IN MANY TRADES, INCLUCING INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICAL, HYDRAULICS, PNEUMATICS, CARPENTRY, MECHANICS, MASONRY, AND CONCRETING.MECHANICAL REASONING SKILLS ARE NECESSARYABILITY TO READ BLUE PRINTS, MANUALS, WIRING DIAGRAMS, AND SCHEMATIC DRAWINGS NECESSARYMUST BE INNOVATIVE AND SAFETY CONSCIOUS FOR PROTECTION OF SELF AND FELLOW WORKERS ESSENTIAL DUTIESINDIVIDUAL MUST BE ABLE TO PERFORM MAINTENANC AND REPAIR DUTIESVISUALLY INSPECT AND TEST MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT, CLEAN AND LUBRICATE MACHINERYMUST BE ABLE TO USE HAND AND POWER TOOLS, WELDING EQUIPMENT, TESTING EQUIPMENT, HOIST, MEASURING TOOLS, AND BE ABLE TO OPERATE MOBILE EQUIPMENT, SUCH AS BACKHOE, EXCAVATOR, FRONT END LOADER, YARD CRANE, FORK TRUCKS, AND DUMP TRUCKSCOMPLETES MAINTENANCE WORK ORDERSOBSERVES SAFETY REQUIREMENTS, LIFTING GUIDELINES, AS WELL AS CHAIN/SLING LIFTING REQUIREMENTSWEAR PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AS REQUIREDPERFOMS OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED Why work for Hodge Foundry?
