Shift: 24-hour in-house call, 7:00 AM 7:00 AM

Epic EMRClinical Responsibilities: Evaluate and treat patients in the Obstetric Emergency Department (OBED)Manage care for unassigned OB/GYN patients Monitor labor and interpret fetal heart tracings Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections Serve as the primary safety net for the Labor & Delivery unit Provide pregnancy-related and gynecologic consultations to the ED and medical floors Evaluate and treat postpartum patients prior to discharge Respond to obstetrical emergencies and evolving labor complications Participate in emergency drills and quality improvement initiatives Follow evidence-based protocols and patient safety standards
Required Experience: Candidates must have recent experience with: Vaginal deliveries Cesarean sections Emergency obstetrical procedures
Facility Overview: Hospital is a 369-bed acute care and surgical facility serving the Arlington community for more than 60 years. Facility Highlights: Approximately 1,300 1,500 births annually 20-bed Level III NICUPrivate maternity suites Two cesarean birth suites Dedicated antepartum area for high-risk pregnancies Educational resources and classes for new parents
Qualifications: MD or DOBoard Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology Completion of an accredited ACGME OB/GYN residency Robotics training Current Texas Medical License or willingness to obtain Recent delivery and surgical experience required Travel & Lodging: Airfare, lodging, and rental car covered.
