The Respite & Revelry Co. is looking for a Hospitality & Guest Services Coordinator — someone who lights up talking to people, notices the details others miss, and genuinely loves this city, without getting rattled when things get busy. Key Responsibilities:
Guest Services Provide high-touch guest service before, during, and after every stay — make sure homes are guest-ready and on-brand before check-in
Recommend local Charleston favorites — where to eat, shop, and explore
Serve as the main point of contact for guest inquiries, arrivals, and departures across all channels (text, email, booking platform messaging)
Monitor daily bookings and inquiries; oversee check-in and check-out procedures
Conduct in-person unit checks and pre-arrival quality checks between and during stays — verifying cleanliness, staging, and that everything matches listing photos
Coordinate and oversee property turnovers between guest stays, ensuring units are guest-ready on schedule
Troubleshoot in-stay issues (maintenance, missing items, access problems) and resolve them quickly, efficiently, and cost-effectively
Manage guest reviews and listing feedback — respond promptly and professionally, and recommend improvements
Carry on-call responsibility per the schedule below, offset with a weekday half-day off Guest-Specific Administration Manage the property management system — process payments, adjust reservations, and update rates and fees
Manage reservations and guest communication through the booking platform
Keep guest records, special requests, and stay notes organized and accurate
Track and reconcile guest-related charges (damage deposits, add-ons, late checkout fees)
Support day-to-day operations, including inventory/supply management, spend tracking, and reporting
Maintain and update property information, house manuals, and guest-facing guides as things change

Support leadership with occasional general office tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Experience in guest relations, hotel management, hospitality, property management, or a similar customer-facing role
Solid grasp of hospitality management best practices and vacation rental procedures (bookings, check-in/check-out)
Outstanding communication and active listening skills, with a genuine solutions-first approach to service
Strong problem-solving skills and comfort juggling multiple priorities at once
A sense of ownership, professional presentation, and the ability to lead and motivate a team
Highly organized with strong attention to detail (this role is often the difference between a 4-star and 5-star review)
Reliable transportation and a cell phone xsgimln required — this role is mobile and moves between properties around Charleston throughout the day
Physically able to move around properties and lift/carry items as needed (linens, supplies, luggage assistance, etc.)
A calm, solutions-first approach when things go sideways, and a genuine can-do attitude
Flexibility to work some nights, weekends, and holidays
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
Property Manager License, or willingness to obtain one
Schedule Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm core hours
On-call rotation: every other Saturday, plus every other Sunday overnight (11:00pm–3:00am)
Additional nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
On-call weeks are offset with a scheduled weekday half-day off
Compensation & Benefits:
$40,000–$45,000/year(roughly $20–$25/hr), depending on experience.3% IRA match
