About the role
Meridian Waste in Huntsville, AL seeks a Diesel Mechanic to inspect, repair and maintain waste collection trucks and support equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and keep vehicles safe and available for service. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of diesel experience, the ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and strong reading/writing skills. ASE Diesel Certification is a plus. Work is performed in a warehouse/shop environment with emphasis on safety.
