About the role
Working Project Manager We are seeking an organized, hands-on, and detail-oriented Working Project Manager to coordinate complex commercial and residential relocations. In this role, you will split your time between strategic project oversight and actively assisting crews on-site. You will serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing the entire moving process from initial planning to final setup, while directly participating in the physical loading, transport, and furniture assembly alongside your team.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Site Leadership & Labor: Work alongside the crew to safely pack, load, and transport customer items, leading by example on the floor.
Furniture Installation: Lead and execute the breakdown, installation, and assembly of complex modular office furniture, cubicles, and workstations.
Driving & Transport: Safely operate moving trucks, box trucks, and related logistics vehicles to move equipment and client inventory between sites.
Client Communication: Act as the primary liaison between the client, internal staff, and external vendors.
Crew & Resource Oversight: Coordinate moving crews, drivers, and equipment availability. Oversee on-site productivity, efficiency, and safety compliance.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
