About the role
City of DeLand is seeking a Utility Locator to protect city utilities by marking lines in the field with flags and paint. You will walk sites under varying weather, operate locator tools, and coordinate with Sunshine One Call center to ensure accurate markings. The role requires a high school diploma with six months field locating experience, ability to read plans, valid Florida driver’s license, and comfortable working outdoors in diverse conditions.
