Operations Manager – Industrial Scaffolding
Location: Frankfurt, Germany We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the successful and profitable delivery of multiple contracts within an established Industrial Scaffolding operation. This is a senior operational leadership role, responsible for overseeing contract performance, commercial delivery, client relationships, team development and overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities: Lead and oversee the safe and efficient delivery of multiple industrial scaffolding contracts. Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety procedures, company policies and relevant regulatory requirements. Set clear operational objectives and KPIs across contracts and ensure these are effectively communicated and delivered. Ensure contracts are appropriately resourced, organised and managed. Take responsibility for the commercial and financial performance of contracts, including P&L accountability. Monitor and report on operational, commercial and financial performance. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders. Provide strong leadership and support to operational teams, ensuring employees are effectively managed, developed and appropriately qualified for their roles. Work closely with project and senior management to ensure operational objectives are achieved. Escalate significant contractual, commercial, safety or reputational issues promptly. Identify opportunities for operational improvement, business development and profitable growth. Contribute to the wider strategic development and growth of the Industrial Scaffolding business.
Requirements: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken. Minimum 5 years' senior management experience within the scaffolding sector. Strong operational and project management experience, gained through experience and/or formal qualifications. Proven experience of P&L responsibility and commercial performance within a corporate or divisional environment. Strong operational, commercial, financial and business development experience. Good understanding of the industrial services/scaffolding market and the requirements of clients and key stakeholders. Strong leadership, communication and people-management skills.
