Role Description:
This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Representative at PurpleSec. The person in this role will identify and qualify leads, manage outbound and inbound prospecting, and build a strong pipeline of opportunities for AI security services. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching target organizations, engaging prospects via email, phone, and social channels, scheduling discovery meetings for senior team members, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. The Business Development Representative will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and subject-matter experts to refine messaging, support campaigns, and ensure prospects understand PurpleSec’s value in AI security and risk defense. The role also involves meeting activity and revenue-related goals, providing feedback from the market, and helping improve lead generation and sales processes over time.
Qualifications:
Demonstrated skills in Inside Sales and Lead Generation, including prospecting, qualifying, and nurturing potential clients.
Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical concepts in clear, accessible language.
Experience in Sales and Business Development, with a track record of meeting or exceeding pipeline or revenue targets.
Comfort working in a remote environment, with strong time management, organization, and self-motivation.
Familiarity with cybersecurity, AI, or technology services is beneficial, along with an ability to quickly learn complex offerings.
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales engagement tools, as well as standard productivity software.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
