Company OverviewAt Indigo Real Estate, we attribute much of our properties' successes to the strengths of our team members and we are seeking a Porter who is passionate about customer service and driven to succeed.Job SummaryThe Porter is responsible for general janitorial and grounds keeping tasks and may assist with painting, minor maintenance repairs, and preventative maintenance. Our Porter position is an important part of the management team and must ensure our high standards of cleanliness, curb appeal and customer service are met. Duties of the position are maintaining a professional image and attitude in keeping with the objectives of the company and resident welfare, keeping common areas, grounds, flowerbeds, hallways, garages, parking lots, and alleys clean and neat, responding proactively to tasks regarding cleanliness and the appearance of building interiors and exteriors, doing regular vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, garbage removal, pressure washing, and working with the Maintenance Supervisor and Business Manager on scheduled monthly, quarterly and annual cleaning tasks.Qualifications and SkillsAbility to adhere to safety policies and procedures at all timesGreat customer service skillsDetail-orientated and organizedMust be self-motivated and a team player, willing to help out wherever neededMust be able to do heavy lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, balancing, and carrying.Position requires weekend and holiday work.1 year of experience preferredBenefits and PerksIndigo offers a positive, team-oriented work environment, competitive salary, performance incentives, and a full benefits package for full-time employment upon meeting eligibility requirements.Compensation is highly competitive based on experienceMedical/Dental/VisionMedical Flex-spend AccountLife Insurance401(k) Retirement Savings plan with Employer matchVacation TimeSick & Safe LeaveNumerous, additional employee resource programs
