About the role
Graphic DesignerReporting to the Director, Creative Services, the Graphic Designer will be in Mooresville, NC. This position within the Marketing Department is responsible for the implementation of design solutions that meet marketing strategies from concept to completion. The Graphic Designer will focus on the core responsibilities of a Graphic Designer, while having knowledge of brand, market trends, and innovation along with completing projects from conception to completion. The position will work with internal teams to develop design concepts for multiple design mediums and channels from retail, ecommerce to advertising and promotion. Required to manage digital assets including photography and assume project ownership as it relates to assigned projects.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Utilize brand guidelines to ensure consistent and creative design and messaging to develop promotional marketing materialsCreate designs, concepts, and sample layouts, based on sound design and esthetic layout design principlesDevelops digital materials for PDP pages at key retailersWorks on retailer advertising programs as assignedDevelops in-store POP and collateral for effective brand presentationCollateral development for tradeshows and other marketing eventsDesign and production of various marketing collaterals including catalogs, brochures, flyers, sell sheets, trade show banners and displays, signage, logos, labels for products, presentations, and photo manipulation, and other design and production initiativesUtilize project management system to drive and execute projectsRequired Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree preferred in graphic design or related field3-10 years design experienceAbility to work with multiple stakeholdersFundamental understanding of marketing and brandingProficient skills in creating and producing advertising for print, web and emailProficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, IllustratorFamiliarity with a variety of online marketing concepts, best practices and proceduresCapable of working from a developed concept and translating/ adapting that concept into other mediums such as print collateral, web pages, emails, etc.Basic knowledge of 3D construction and presentation is a plusFamiliarity with online project management system a plusKnowledge of photography and video a plusCopywriting/proofreading skill a plusKnowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript a plusCore Competencies:Organized, reliable, detail-oriented and able to follow up on tasksMulti-tasker, capable of prioritizing, managing time efficiently and meeting deadlinesCollaborates well with multiple teamsComfortable with technology and a fast learnerStrong verbal and written communications skillsCompensation and Benefits:Health, dental, and vision coverage401k company match planPaid sick, personal, and vacation timeImportant Employment Requirement: Candidates selected for employment must successfully complete Greenworks' required pre-employment background check and drug screening.
