About the role
The City of Pearland, TX- Police Department seeks a full-time Jailer to support daily operations in the jail facility. The role features 12-hour shifts (6:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. or 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.) and a competitive hourly pay scale based on qualifications.
Main duties include booking and custody of prisoners, maintaining accurate jail records, and coordinating with courts and other agencies. A high school diploma and at least one year of related experience are required, with a Texas Class C
