Katz Teller, a prominent law firm in Cincinnati, has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Real Estate Paralegal and Title Company Manager. The successful applicant must have the ability to communicate effectively with attorneys and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
( includes, but are not limited to) Prepare title commitments and issue title policies; Review and comment on titles and surveys; Prepare closingdocuments, create closing checklists and assist in closing commercial real estate transactions; Prepare deeds, memoranda of trust and other estate-planning related documents; Assist in curing title defects; Order due diligence reports and interface with third party diligence providers; Order title exams, surveys and zoning reports, as applicable; Review and submit documents for recording through Simplifile or via mail/in-person; Review and submit monthly title policy premium remittances to title companies for entire title company; Gather and provide information for all title company audits and yearly audit; Submit title agency and title agent Annual Reviews to the Ohio Department of Insurance; Submit 1099-S tax documents online for all files, if applicable. *Position may be eligible for hybrid schedule.
