About the role
- Inspect, test, and measure materials and products throughout the manufacturing process
- Perform incoming, in-process, first-piece, and final inspections
- Verify raw materials meet quality requirements prior to production
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Monitor production operations to ensure compliance with quality standards
- Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Approve or reject materials and finished products based on specifications
- Identify nonconforming products and ensure proper disposition
- Communicate inspection findings with production and quality teams
- Recommend process improvements and corrective actions as needed
- Support special projects and additional quality-related initiatives
- Qualifications3–5 years of quality inspection or related manufacturing experience
- College degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
- Experience using precision measuring equipment including calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a teamU.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident required
- First Article Inspection experience
- Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards
- Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
- Experience with MRP and ERP systems
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S, and Lean Manufacturing principles
- Aerospace manufacturing experience
