Job Description
Mechanical Assembly Technician: Build high-end light towers and trailers as part of a skilled, hands-on production team. We’re looking for a dependable Mechanical Assembly Technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and attention to detail. You’ll receive cross-training across multiple workstations, giving you the opportunity to learn the full assembly process and support the team wherever needed. Schedule & PayMonday–Friday: 6:00 AM–4:30 PMSaturday: 6:00 AM–11:00 AMOvertime required: Average 50–55 hours/week
Pay: $21/hour, based on experience
What You’ll Do: Assemble light towers and trailers using hand and power tools. Perform drilling, bolting, wiring, and general mechanical assembly. Operate hoists/cranes as needed. Read technical drawings and follow color-coded wiring diagrams. Cross-train across multiple production stations and support teammates. Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity. Accurately record parts and material usage in company systems. Maintain a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to quality. What You Bring 1+ year of manufacturing, production, or assembly experience. Ability to read technical drawings and understand color codes. Familiarity with hand and power tools and standard assembly practices. Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Commitment to safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and work for a 10-hour shift. Ability to repeatedly lift/move up to 50 lbs. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and following required PPE and safety procedures.
