Paralegal
bolt law firmAnoka (MN)
About the role
Bolt Law Firm is seeking an experienced paralegal to join our personal injury and railroad litigation practice.
Our firm represents injured railroad workers and other clients in significant personal injury and wrongful death cases throughout the country. Much of our railroad practice involves claims under the Federal Employers' Liability Act (FELA), and our cases are litigated in both state and federal courts across multiple jurisdictions.
We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of personal injury litigation experience who is organized, confident, and comfortable taking responsibility for cases and deadlines. Prior FELA or railroad experience would be a significant plus, but it is not required. We are much more interested in finding a strong litigation paralegal who can learn the specialized aspects of our practice.
This is a full-time, direct-hire position.

About the Practice Our railroad practice is national in scope. We represent railroad workers and their families in cases involving serious injuries, occupational claims, retaliation, and wrongful death. Because our cases arise throughout the country, the position offers exposure to a wide variety of courts, jurisdictions, experts, and complex litigation issues.
This is a good opportunity for a paralegal who enjoys litigation, wants meaningful responsibility, and is looking for something beyond processing the same type of case in the same court every day.
Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
