About the role
To support the Lease Administration/Audit team, the remote Senior Lease Auditor will manage lease audits related to OPEX, CAM, RET, Insurance, and Utilities, ensuring compliance with lease terms and effectively communicating with landlord representatives.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct pre-audit reviews of annual expense reconciliations for accuracy and compliance
Analyze expenses charged using standardized checklists and year-over-year variance worksheets
Prepare final analysis and articulate the Summary of Findings for each audit performed
Required qualifications:
Associate or bachelor's degree in business, accounting, real estate, or a related field preferred
At least 5 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate lease administration or related fields
Familiarity with commercial real estate database applications such as Pro Lease, Harbor Flex, or CoStar
Strong knowledge of commercial lease language and ability to interpret lease provisions
Ability to work calmly in high-pressure situations while managing multiple tasks
