To meet the needs of the region and provide seamless, high-quality, comprehensive surgical care, we are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join an established outpatient Cardiothoracic Surgery team in Binghamton, NY.This outpatient role offers the opportunity to work closely with a collaborative team of surgeons specializing in cardiac and thoracic surgery. Position Details: Conduct new and established patient visits in an outpatient setting, including comprehensive evaluations and ongoing care management Perform patient consultations with thorough education on procedures and treatment plans Provide postoperative care and follow-up for surgical patients, monitoring recovery and addressing complications as needed Coordinate patient communication and triage inquiries in collaboration with clinical and administrative team members
Qualifications:
1–2 years of NP experience preferred Prior experience as an NP or RN in a surgical setting preferred Active New York State NP license requiredDEA registration and board certification required
