About the role

Accounting Analyst We are currently accepting applications for an Accounting Analyst to support the Bank's accounting operations, financial reporting, cash management, regulatory reporting, and budgeting processes. This position plays an integral role in maintaining the Bank's financial records, preparing reports for management and the Board of Directors, supporting audits and examinations, and assisting with key financial planning activities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Support the Bank's accounting operations, financial reporting, and budgeting processes. Manage cash flow activities, account reconciliations, and investment portfolio accounting functions. Prepare regulatory filings, Call Reports, management reports, and Board reports. Process accounts payable, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and assist with audits and regulatory correspondent bank relationships and support accounting-related training and operational processes.
Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of two years of accounting experience required. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliation processes. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications and financial reporting systems. MidAmerica National Bank offers a competitive compensation and benefits package.
